Now that you have signed the Energy Fairness Petition, tell a friend about it!

We are urging the Utilities Commission to enact clear and fair rules regarding the measurement and payment for efficiency by customers.  It sounds crazy, but utilities are requesting to charge customers for the energy that customers don’t use.  For each kilowatt we save being energy efficient, one utility is asking to charge us 90% of the market rate of energy!  

Efficiency requires action, planning, and conserving by consumers, and consumers should reap the economic benefit.
